Our mission

In line with the guiding principle of the ifm group of companies, the business activities of the subsidiary ifm diagnostic focus on the development of sensor systems for vibration monitoring and diagnosis as well as inclination sensors for the motion control sector.

ifm diagnostic installs structures and processes that are suitable for developing products for different product groups and adapting them in a continuous process to the requirements of a high quality standard and constant growth.

ifm diagnostic gmbh is a subsidiary of ifm process gmbh. The product range is divided into a product group structure:

• efector 410 Inclination sensors based on MEMS sensors
• efector 800 Vibration monitoring based on acceleration sensors and evaluation units

ifm diagnostic purchases technologies, software or label products as required in order to cover potential gaps in the market via merchandise.
Product management at ifm diagnostic develops the product policy for the product groups in continuous coordination with the objectives of the sales companies within the ifm group of companies and is responsible for the products throughout their entire life cycle.

ifm diagnostic promotes technological synergies and partnerships between the development areas within and outside the company.
Within the PG410 and PG800 product groups, ifm diagnostic gmbh is responsible for development, product management, project purchasing and quality management as well as all external interfaces, e.g. with customers. The products of ifm diagnostic gmbh are produced at ifm prover gmbh and ifm prover s.r.l..

ifm diagnostic is actively involved in the development of applications for vibration diagnostics on the moneo software platform. In close cooperation with the software houses of the ifm group, ifm diagnostic defines software system solutions together with them.

ifm diagnostic promotes the systematic search for and further development of new technologies and the development of technological foundations on the basis of technology partnerships with internal and external partners.

History

Today's ifm diagnostic gmbh was founded in Rosenheim in 1998 as i-for-T GmbH and has been part of the ifm Group since 2002. The company was renamed ifm diagnostic gmbh in 2016.
