G.I.B mbH from Siegen and ifm have been linked since 2016. The development unit GIB mbH was integrated into ifm business solutions gmbh in mid-2022. GIB S&D mbH has been part of ifm electronic gmbh since 2021 and was fully integrated in 2024.
