ifm software – Sensor technology meets software

ifm software, a subsidiary of ifm solutions, is helping to drive digitalization forward with the IIoT platform moneo. moneo makes it possible to link sensor data using AI in such a way that customers not only know, for example, that a machine will soon fail, but also exactly which component is affected and when the failure could occur. This gives technicians enough time to take countermeasures at an early stage.

History

ifm software gmbh was formed on February 27, 2019, through the merger of ifm datalink gmbh (Fürth) and Qosit Softwareentwicklung GmbH (Siegen). ACX GmbH (Zwickau) and NSC GmbH (St. Egidien) were acquired in 2020.

ifm datalink was established in 2012 through the acquisition of the company Handke Industrie Software. The LINERECORDER software system, which was developed by the company Handke, is characterized by a modular structure that is scalable up to a complete MES system. The special feature of the LINERECORDER system is an interface concept developed in-house, in which machine connections are realized only by means of configuration with the LINERECORDER agents.

After the merger of ifm datalink with ifm consulting in 2015, the parameterization software LINERECORDER SENSOR is the first product developed by ifm datalink gmbh.
